SMS terms and opt-in

Fishtechy sends one-time passcodes and account security texts. This page is the public record of what that program sends, who sends it, and how to stop it.

The program at a glance

Program
Fishtechy Account Security — one-time passcodes and account notices.
Sender
Flytechy, Inc. (dba Fishtechy), 14343 South Latour Creek Road, Cataldo, ID 83810.
Sent from
+1 (878) 877-6635. Passcodes and account notices come from this number and no other.
What we send
Transactional messages only: one-time passcodes, number verification, security alerts, and notices about your account. We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Messages are sent in response to something you do — signing in, verifying a number, or making a sensitive change to your account.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Fishtechy charges nothing for these messages; your mobile carrier’s own rates are between you and them.
Help
Reply HELP to any message, or email support@fishtechy.com.
Stop
Reply STOP to any message to cancel, or email support@fishtechy.com and ask us to stop texting your number.

How you opt in

You opt in by entering your mobile number on a Fishtechy sign-in screen and submitting it. Submitting that form is the act of consenting: it asks us to text you a one-time passcode, and that passcode is the first message we send. Consent is not pre-checked anywhere and is not bundled into anything else you agree to.

This is the disclosure exactly as it appears there — the same element the sign-in screen renders, not a transcription of it:

By tapping Send One-Time Code, you agree to receive one-time passcodes and account security text messages from Fishtechy at this number, sent from +1 (878) 877-6635. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. See our SMS Terms, Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Consent to receive these messages is a condition of signing in by text, because the text is how we prove the number is yours. It is not a condition of buying anything, and you can use your account without it: an emailed sign-in link proves the same account and sends no messages to your phone.

Where it appears

On the phone-entry step of Fishtechy partner sign-in. You can see the live version at fishtechy.com/partner/sign-in — choose “Mobile number”.

The Fishtechy apps for iOS and Android ask for a mobile number and send the same passcodes from the same number.

Stopping the messages

Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting that number. You will get one final message confirming it, and nothing after that.

You do not have to reply by text to stop. Email support@fishtechy.com from any address, tell us the number, and we will opt it out for you. Ordinary words work over text too — STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE and QUIT all mean the same thing, whatever the capitalization.

Stopping the messages does not close your account or affect anything you have bought, but it does end sign-in by text, since the passcode is the proof. Sign in with an emailed link instead, or reply START to the same number to begin receiving passcodes again.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message and data rates may apply.

Your number and your privacy

We do not sell your mobile number, and no mobile information or text messaging consent is shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We share the number only with the messaging and verification providers and mobile carriers that deliver these messages on our behalf, so that they can deliver them. The Privacy Policy sets out the whole picture, and the Terms of Use govern your use of the Service.
